2023 SCHOOL IN A BUS
The Lebanon School on Wheels Project successfully organised two rides in 2023. One was the Tour de Morocco, while the other covered the distance from Manchester to Cardiff. The combined proceeds generated from these rides, which aimed to support the initiative, reached an impressive total of £55,979. The achievements of these events can be largely attributed to the dedication and hard work of the participants, supporters, and volunteers involved. The funds raised will greatly benefit the children of Lebanon by providing them with access to educational opportunities. In addition to raising money, these rides also helped raise awareness for the cause and fostered unity among supporters.
BOSNIA
Join us on an exhilarating adventure - pedal your way through the picturesque landscapes of Bosnia and help us raise funds for the READ Foundation's Special Needs Educational Hub, providing support to refugee students with disabilities.
From August 1st to August 6th, 2024, we will be embarking on this incredible journey across Bosnia, covering approximately 150 miles in total. Our goal is to raise £2000 per participant, contributing towards this worthy cause.
By participating in this cycling event, you will not only challenge yourself physically but also make a meaningful impact in the lives of refugee students with special needs. So gear up, embrace the thrill, and be a part of this remarkable initiative.
MANCHESTER TO CARDIFF
On the 29th of July, a committed team of FCC cyclists set off on a demanding adventure from Cheadle Masjid. Their objective was to reach Cardiff in a mere two days. The journey proved to be physically challenging, as the riders covered extensive distances and encountered a variety of landscapes along the route. Despite the fatigue, the cyclists were treated to stunning vistas throughout their expedition.
